The Lord Peckover is a rare early-season dessert apple that originated at Peckover House gardens in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, and was first recorded in 1926. It produces large, sweet-sharp fruits with a bright crimson flush and firm, crisp white flesh
in my opinion is one of the worst tasting apples I’ve ever tasted. It starts off ok but it quickly goes flakey. Bruises from the inside first and doesn’t last very long.
20 apples for £20 which includes postage if you want to give it a go.
