Beauty of Bath is a heritage Victorian dessert apple first propagated in Somerset in 1864. Known for its striking bright red flush over a pale yellow skin, the fruit features a sweet, juicy flavor with a sharp tang. The flesh is creamy white, often beautifully stained with pink.
These apples ripen very early—typically in late July or early August in the UK—and must be eaten straight from the tree, as they do not store well. Because they bruise easily and drop from the trees before they are fully ripe
